I. Basic Information‌

Shenzhen Esson New Energy Group, established in 1997, operates over 10 wholly-owned, joint-venture, and holding companies domestically and internationally. The group engages in diverse sectors, including petroleum refining, fine chemicals, biotechnology, natural gas development, marine transportation, international trade, and strategic investments. As a large multinational private enterprise integrating R&D, production, sales, and international trade, it boasts an annual output value exceeding ten billion yuan (CNY 10 billion).

‌II. Key Development Areas‌

2.1 New Energy‌

Transitioning from traditional energy sources like coal, petroleum, and natural gas to zero-emission hydrogen energy has become a national energy strategy in China. Supported by Guangdong Province’s policies and subsidies, Esson Group is driving the development of a hydrogen energy industrial chain covering production, storage, transportation, hydrogen refueling stations, and hydrogen-powered transportation. The group’s 1.2 million tons/year Changlian Aromatics Project, the largest aromatic chemical raw material supplier in the Pearl River Delta, also generates abundant hydrogen resources. It has built a 20,000 tons/year Pressure Swing Adsorption (PSA) hydrogen purification facility and a hydrogen filling station and plans to build 20 hydrogen refueling stations and hydrogen liquefaction storage bases, which will become the largest private hydrogen energy enterprise in the Pearl River Delta.

‌2.2 Laos Petrochemical Project‌

Esson Group, in partnership with Laos National Petroleum Corporation and Yunnan Construction and Investment Group, is developing a 3 million tons/year oil refinery in the Saysettha Development Zone, Vientiane, Laos. As Laos’ largest industrial enterprise and a key Belt and Road Initiative project endorsed by Chinese and Laotian leaders, this refinery has laid the foundation for Laos’ industrialization, ended its reliance on imported refined oil, and filled the gap in its petrochemical industry.

‌2.3 Exploration of Oil and Gas Fields in Southeast Asia

Esson Group and Canadian company CFG jointly invested in the M-15 offshore block in Southeast Asia, a super-large natural gas and oil field with estimated reserves of 99 TCF and an economic value exceeding $100 billion. After extraction, natural gas will be transported through pipelines to southwestern regions such as Yunnan, Guizhou, and Chongqing in China; Oil will be sold to countries such as Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, Thailand, Malaysia, etc. The extraction of natural gas fields in Southeast Asia will form an interconnected economic integration between Esson Group and Southeast Asian countries.

2.4 Logistics and Trade in Singapore‌

Esson Group established its overseas headquarters in Singapore to manage overseas financial investments, trade, and logistics. The group operates four 20,000-ton dual-purpose oil/chemical tankers through its Singapore shipping company. Leveraging Singapore's regional advantages as a hub for trade and transit shipping and trade in Southeast Asian countries and driving Esson Group's overseas international trade to form an integrated economic circle with the coastal economies of Asia, Europe, and Africa.
